FILA Tennis

FILA Tennis commissioned MRKA to create a series of graphics for its first artist collaboration developed exclusively for the Chinese market. The collection explores tennis through MRKA’s visual language, blending court geometry with drawings, symbols, typography, and references to the objects and rituals of the wider FILA world.

Selected from hundreds of sketches, the final designs feature a vintage racket from Biella, a fresh can of tennis balls, a FILA grass court, and Björn Borg on the players’ bench. The main graphic brings these elements together, spelling out the FILA name using Borg’s iconic jacket, a ball can, a vintage racket, and a signature FILA shoe.
